How to get to the Guesten Hall


The hall is located at Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings, Buntsford Hill, Stoke Heath, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire B60 4JR. The museum is situated to the south of Bromsgrove town centre, just off the A38 Bromsgrove by-pass and is well sign-posted.

Car Users
Bromsgrove is situated to the south-west of Birmingham, close to the M5 and M42.

Travelling west on the M42
Take the exit at junction 1 and then the A38 south towards Bromsgrove. Stay on the A38 until you pass the Morrisons island/roundabout. Turn off the A38 at the next island/roundabout (sign-posted 'Avoncroft Museum' - please note that this is a new island and may not be shown on maps). Go through the new industrial estate then, at the next island/roundabout, turn right into the Avoncroft Museum car park.

Travelling south on the M5
Take the exit at junction 4 and then the A38 south towards Bromsgrove. Stay on the A38 until you pass the Morrisons island/roundabout. Turn off the A38 at the next island/roundabout (sign-posted 'Avoncroft Museum' - please note that this is a new island and may not be shown on maps). Go through the new industrial estate then, at the next island/roundabout, turn right into the Avoncroft Museum car park.

Travelling north on the M5
Take the exit at junction 5 and then the A38 north towards Bromsgrove. After passing the Hanbury Turn pub and traffic lights, turn off the A38 at the next island/roundabout (sign-posted 'Avoncroft Museum' - please note that this is a new island and may not be shown on maps). Go through the new industrial estate then, at the next island/roundabout, turn right into the Avoncroft Museum car park.

If you use the M5, please note that there is no exit from the M42 at junction 1 travelling east.

Parking
There is plenty of free parking at the museum. Take your car to the end of the large car park where there are lighted buildings. From the car park go through the wooden gate into the museum, following signs for Mixing Music.

Access for Disabled People
There is space for cars by the entrance to the hall, which is all on the flat and suitable for wheelchairs. Please contact us if you need to bring a car close to the entrance.

Non Car Users
The museum is about 20 minutes walk from the First (formerly Midland Red) no. 144 Birmingham-Worcester bus route (Stoke Turn bus stop). It is about 1½ miles from Bromsgrove rail station.
